7th Grade Social Studies students continuing their map distortions and projection work!

7th Grade Social Studies students worked to understand map distortions and how to adjust for them through the use of projections. Students created their own globes on oranges and then attempted to turn their "globes" into maps.

Science 9 students constructed straw rockets to study projectile motion. They enjoyed the activity as they determined how the launch angle affected the distance the rocket traveled.
