Dear Warriors,
First, and foremost a huge thank you to Mrs. Ashley Scott for being our keynote speaker at our annual Veterans Day assembly. Thank you to all of our students who participated in any way throughout the day to make it all come together. A special thank you to all the staff for all of the planning and organizing, the assembly would not be possible without all staff working together. A special thank you to all of our Veterans and community members who were in attendance.
Congratulations to John Looney, Jay Ganzer and Jamie Knoche on being voted onto the school board for the next 4 years. They will be sworn in at our December Reorganizational meeting. Shout out to Larry Banowetz for his 16+ years of service on the CW School Board. Thank you to everyone who ran and voted.
Congratulations to all of the fall extra-curricular and co-curricular participants and sponsors/coaches on a successful start to the school year. I encourage you to come out and enjoy as many winter activities as possible. Please mark Dec 16, 2023 on your calendar as we will be inducting our third class into the Calamus-Wheatland Hall of Fame. Each year Coach Burke and the committee do a great job of recognizing our Hall of Fame members.

The strength of the C-W district is its tremendous community support, whether there are good times or bad. It is a pleasure to work in a district that values education.
